Optimist International Junior Golf Championship

Each year, The Optimist International sponsors the prestigious Junior Golf Championship Tournament. Past winners of this event include Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Michelle McGann. The Kent Optimist Club of Grand Rapids sponsors the local qualifying tournament which is held at The Thornapple Pointe Golf Club.
